Maharashtra Bonus: Namo Shetkari + PM-KISAN = ₹12,000/year

Maharashtra farmers receive an additional ₹6,000/year from the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi scheme (state government). Combined with PM-KISAN, the total annual income support is ₹12,000 per year — paid in 6 installments of ₹2,000 each.

When is PM-KISAN 17th installment? +

The PM-KISAN 17th installment is expected around June–July 2026. The 16th installment was released in February 2026. Installments come every 4 months. Check your status at pmkisan.gov.in → Beneficiary Status.

How to complete PM-KISAN eKYC? +

Visit pmkisan.gov.in → eKYC option. Enter your Aadhaar number, verify OTP, and complete the process. You can also visit a CSC centre or your nearest bank. eKYC is mandatory — without it, installments will be withheld.

Who is NOT eligible for PM-KISAN? +

Government employees (current and retired), income taxpayers, professionals like doctors/engineers/lawyers/CAs, and families with monthly pension over ₹10,000 are not eligible. Institutional landholders are also excluded.

How to register for PM-KISAN for the first time? +

Visit pmkisan.gov.in → 'New Farmer Registration'. Enter Aadhaar, state, and mobile number. Fill in land and bank details. Submit and complete eKYC. Registration is verified by state government before approval.

How to add/correct bank account in PM-KISAN? +

Visit pmkisan.gov.in → 'Updation of Self Registered Farmer'. You can update your bank account, mobile number, and other details. Ensure bank account is linked to Aadhaar for DBT to work.
