Do I need to separately register for Namo Shetkari? +

No! If you are already a PM-KISAN beneficiary in Maharashtra, you are automatically enrolled for Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi. No separate application is needed. Just ensure your PM-KISAN registration is complete and eKYC is done.

How to check Namo Shetkari installment status? +

Visit pmkisan.gov.in → Beneficiary Status → Enter Aadhaar → OTP. For Maharashtra-specific status, you may also visit nsmny.mahait.org. The 7th installment was released in September 2025 for 91.65 lakh farmers.

When is the 8th installment of Namo Shetkari? +

The 8th installment of Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi is expected around February–March 2026. The scheme follows the same schedule as PM-KISAN — 3 installments per year of ₹2,000 each.

Who is eligible for Namo Shetkari scheme? +

All PM-KISAN beneficiaries who are resident farmers of Maharashtra are eligible. The Aadhaar must be linked to the bank account. The land must be registered in the farmer's name in Maharashtra.

Is Namo Shetkari in addition to PM-KISAN? +

Yes, it is completely separate and additional. PM-KISAN gives ₹6,000/year from the Central government. Namo Shetkari gives another ₹6,000/year from the Maharashtra state government. Total: ₹12,000/year in 6 installments of ₹2,000 each.
